It is a little unexpected, but a good move for Zalman. They announced their entry in the GPU market with the shipment of mark Zalman GPU to start shipping on December 13.
Zalman first entry will be AMD Radeon HD 6000 series GPU, in three different models: Zalman HD6870-H, H-Zalman HD6850 and HD6770 Zalman-h. You can indicate model numbers, they are 6870 HD, HD 6850 and HD 6770 GPU. Nothing high end yet, but I don't know Zalman are just putting their toes in the water, for the moment.
All cards will feature two outputs DVI, HDMI output and a DisplayPort output. All maps are dual-slot fan located in the Centre of the map. The PCB is a nasty blue colour.
What I am looking forward, is some GPU technology of cooling with their own maps mark Zalman. Zalman have made some really large coolers over the years, that much I owned personally. I am very excited to see what will Zalman now that they are in the GPU market.
